About Us:
Keira Stone Speech Pathology is a well-established and reputable child and adolescent private practice. Located in the Gawler and Barossa region we provide in-clinic and mobile speech pathology services. We have strong business practices with a key focus on mental health wellness in the workplace to provide a positive and safe work place for everyone.
We are a team of experienced and supportive speech pathologists with a focus on continued education, supervision/ mentoring and providing high quality services to a range of clientele. As a small practice we are able to provide unique and personalised services to our clients, as well as maintain a strong focus on employee health and wellbeing. We put the clinicians health/ wellbeing and career growth before profits.
We are a unique and dynamic private practice. We utilise forward thinking, evidence-based practices that suit the clients and the wider community’s needs. We are currently engaged in a range of exciting community projects with several local councils, local libraries and early childhood settings to promote inclusion and capacity building. We highly value advocating and supporting inclusivity and capacity building supports within the community as a such, we have well-formed relationships with many mainstream and specialised supports in the Gawler and Barossa region.

Current Vacancies
New Graduate position
Position: Full time / part time new graduate position (1 position available)
FTE: 0.8 – 1.0 FTE – Flexible work arrangements can be negotiated (varied start times)
Classification: Health Professional and Support Services Award ( wages based on Allied Health Professional stream – above award rates)
About the role:
We have opened up two new graduate positions in the KSSP team and currently have 1 position available. We are passionate about providing a safe, positive and supportive environment to develop your career – we put people and clients before profits!
In our team you will have the following opportunities and support to develop your career and feel confident in your evolving clinical skills:
- New graduates will be supported with a comprehensive 12-month new graduate program.
- You will never see more than four clients in a day (averaged over a fortnight period) for the first 12 months of your career.
- Access to an experienced speech pathology team with collectively well over 40 years experience.
- Weekly supervision sessions.
- Work shadow opportunities – spend a whole day every fortnight for your first six months observing an experienced speech pathologist in their role.
- Attractive remuneration packages (above award rates) including; salary, superannuation, leave entitlements, paid travel, TOIL and paid mandatory training for example, first aid and child safe environments training.
- Annual allowance of $2,000 towards access to professional development.
- Attendance at termly whole team meetings with embedded professional development.

Bachelor of Speech Pathology qualification (pending graduation).
Driver’s licence.
Current WWCC and Child safe training is preferred.

AHP 1 / AHP 2 Speech Pathologist 
Position: Part-time and Full Time AHP1 and AHP2 roles available
FTE: minimum of 0.6FTE. Flexible work arrangements are available.
Classification: Health Professional and Support Services Award ( wages based on Allied Health Professional stream – above award rates)

Allied Health Assistant (AHA) 
Position: Part time
FTE: 0.4FTE/ 0.2FTE – Flexible working arrangements are available
Classification: Health Professional and Support Services Award (rate payable is above current award rates)
Role description:
- Provide therapeutic and program-related supports to a range of clientele. Client goals and associated program will be completed and supervised by a qualified speech pathologist.
- Resource development to support speech pathology intervention.
- Second person assistant for community-based projects and groups.
- General administration and office tasks.
- Uphold infection control procedures.
